This Tartan Does Not Exist is a tartan register that utilizes the blockchain technology. Blockchain allows us to bypass the paper work needed with registering new designs, and provides a decentralized way to retrieve ownership information. Now, anyone can have their own tartan by simply sending a cryptographic message to the blockchain.

This is a limited edition collection. And there are only 747 designs remaining to choose from. Get a tartan for your club, family, name, school, organization, or community. The use cases are endless.

When you mint (register) a tartan on the blockchain, the thread count information will be recorded on chain, ensuring the immutability and permanence of the design. You will also be asked to provide a name and description for your tartan. This information will also be immutably recorded on chain. So be mindful of that.

Note that currently only people who have minted an NFT on the Avalanche blockchain are eligible for registering with zero administrative fee. After 250 tartans are registered, we will have a nominal administrative fee and allow anyone to register tartans.
